IMPLEMENTASI PEMIKIRAN IMAM AL-GHAZALI DALAM PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK SMPQTA AN NUR GEDONG TATAAN TAHUN 2024/2025

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Imam Al-Ghazali's thoughts in shaping the character of students at SMPQTA An Nur Gedong Tataan for the 2024/2025 academic year. The focus of this research is on the application of honesty, responsibility, and empathy as part of Islamic character education. A qualitative approach with a phenomenological method was used, involving observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the school implements character education through the habituation of Islamic values, mentoring programs, and social activities that engage students in practicing honesty, responsibility, and empathy. The main challenges in this implementation include external environmental influences and limited resources. Nevertheless, this study confirms that Imam Al-Ghazali’s philosophy can serve as a model for building a morally upright generation through exemplary teaching and the habituation of character values in daily life
