Keramahan untuk Berjalan : Perspektif Dari Lingkungan Setempat di Bandar Lampung, Indonesia

Berjalan kaki adalah aktivitas manusia yang paling inheren, dan telah dikaitkan dengan banyak manfaat termasuk kesehatan, sosial, ekonomi, dan transportasi, tetapi masih ada kesenjangan dari literatur yang didominasi barat dengan konteks lokal Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami parameter walkability dari perjalanan singkat pendudk lokal di lingkungan yang dipilih dari Kecamatan Kemiling di kota Bandar Lampung. Pengumpulan data terdiri dari pembangunan basis parameter walkability dari literatur terkini mengenai jalan kaki dan walkability dan mengidentifikasi parameter walkability lokal dengan menyinkronkan data berdasarkan wawancara mendalam penduduk lokal (dewasa). Membandingkan analisis literatur menghasilkan lima kategori hambatan untuk berjalan yang mungkin ada di lingkungan: kelayakan, tujuan, keselamatan, kenyamanan, dan kualitas desain. Dalam kasus Bandar Lampung, penduduk setempat mungkin menganggap berjalan sebagai urusan yang santai tanpa mengharapkan kualitas yang baik dari lingkungan mereka sambil menerima kenyamanan sebagai hambatan yang paling penting melebihi keamanan.
