Abstract

A country's level of prosperity is often measured through economic growth, which is generally seen through an increase in the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The total final value of products and services produced within the territory of a country during a certain period of time, either quarterly or annually is called GDP. The purpose of this study is to use panel data regression to determine the effect of fixed broadband, internet users, foreign investment, and labor on GDP in six Southeast Asian countries (Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam) between 2018 and 2022. The regression results, obtained using the Fixed Effetcs approach, show that labor, foreign investment, and fixed broadband affect GDP significantly and positively. On the other hand, the internet user variable has a negative influence on GDP.
