TALKING STICK USING SNAKES AND LADDER MEDIA: AN EFFORTS TO IMPROVE STUDENTS' CRITICAL THINKING ABILITIES

Based on the problems found, namely low to think critically in the students of the Akidah akhlak lesson. This study aims to investigate the effect of the talking stick learning model assisted by snakes and ladders media on the critical thinking skills of seventh grade students in the subject of Akidah Akhlak sub-chapter obeying, sincere, khauf and repentance at MTS Guppi 1 Kesumadadi, Central Lampung. This study utilized quantitative methods based on research kind Quasy Experiment with Nonequivalent control group design. The subjects of this study were all the grade seven students using saturated sample technique. Data gathering techniques via interviews, tests and documentation. Result from Independent sample t-test test showed a Sig. (2 tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05. thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This states that the Talking Stick learning model assisted by Snakes and Ladders Media has an effect on students' critical thinking skills
