This study aims to analyze the factors influencing safe behaviour among construction workers in developing a university building in Jambi. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was employed, involving 54 workers selected through total sampling. Independent variables included knowledge, motivation, and management roles, while the dependent variable was safe behaviour measured through safety compliance and safety participation dimensions. Data were collected using valid and reliable questionnaires and analyzed using the chi-square test. The results indicate that knowledge (p=0.001), motivation (p=0.015), and management roles (p=0.004) significantly affect workers' safe behaviour. Respondents with higher learning, motivation, and management support demonstrated a greater tendency toward safe behaviour. The study concludes that continuous training, motivational incentives, and management support for a safety culture reduce workplace accident risks. This research contributes to occupational safety literature and provides practical guidance for contractors to enhance Construction Safety Management Systems in educational projects in Jambi.
