This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers as agents of religious moderation in supporting the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Through a literature review approach, this research examines how PAI teachers can instill values of religious moderation, such as tolerance, balance, and justice, in the learning process. Religious moderation is seen as a key to creating an inclusive, tolerant, and harmonious generation, aligning with the SDGs, particularly in the areas of quality education (SDG 4) and peace and justice (SDG 16). The results indicate that PAI teachers play a strategic role in shaping students' character through the integration of moderation values into the curriculum, interactive teaching methods, and collaboration with various stakeholders. Thus, PAI teachers not only serve as educators but also as agents of change who promote the creation of a sustainable and harmonious society. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of more inclusive and diversity-supporting educational policies.
