PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI DAN LINGKUNGAN KERJA TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI DI KANTOR DINAS PEKERJAAN UMUM KOTA BANDAR LAMPUNG

This study aims to explore the influence of the work environment and communication on employee performance productivity at the Bandar Lampung City Public Works Department. With a quantitative approach, this study applies a survey approach to collect data using questionnaires distributed to 71 employees. The variables measured include important aspects of the work environment and communication. In this analysis, the t test, f test, coefficient of determination, and multiple linear regression analysis were implemented to understand the relationship between these variables. The results of the analysis show that communication is proven to have a significant impact on employee performance, while work environment factors do not show a significant influence in this case. However, communication and the work environment contribute simultaneously to 71.5% of the variables that influence employee performance. The results show that effective communication is very important to increase collaboration and productivity in the workplace. For the time being. Improving a pleasant work environment is still recommended to increase operational productivity, although it is not individually important. This study provides real benefits for human resource management, especially in terms of building strategies to encourage employee performance through better communication and improving the work environment.
