ANALISIS POTENSI DAN PROYEKSI PEREKONOMIAN PROVINSI LAMPUNG TAHUN 2023

Abstract

The ways to increase regional competitiveness, especially Lampung Province, then increasing economic growth is what is needed. Economic growth has a role to advance the regional economy. This study aims to determine the economic strategic issues of Lampung Province, sectors that have the potential to support Lampung's economy and the projected economic growth rate of Lampung Province in 2023. This research is in the form of a quantitative descriptive, in the type of data using secondary data in time series from year 2017-202.  The results of the study, the strategic issue of economic growth in Lampung Province is still dominated by the agricultural sector which is vulnerable to fluctuations in commodity prices. While the economic sectors that have the potential to become leading sectors in accelerating the economic growth of Lampung Province are (1) agriculture (2) transportation and warehousing (3) water supply, waste management and others. Lampung Province's economic projections in 2023 are dominated by (1) agriculture  (2) processing industry (3) trading.
