Channel Youtube Video Blog (Vlog) Development With Stem Approach As An Alternative Learning Media
Abstract
This research aims to develop a YouTube channel-assisted video blog (vlog) as an alternative to learning physics with the STEM approach. The type of research used is research and development (Research and Development) from Borg and Gall. Product viability is done by validating the material experts and media experts. After that, the researchers conducted a small group product attractiveness test for 30 students from several high school / MA schools in Lampung Province and a field trial by 120 students to see the students' responses. This research will produce a product in the form of a YouTube video blog (vlog) channel with the STEM approach. Based on the results of product validation, 84% of media expert judgment, 84% material expert, and 72% IT expert judgment were obtained. Student responses to small group trials gained a percentage of 87% and 83% of field trials. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the YouTube channel video blog with the STEM approach is suitable as an alternative medium for online learning for high school / MA school students.
