THE EFFECT OF PRODUCT BENEFITS AND LIFESTYLE ON INTEREST IN BUYING ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN SURAKARTA WITH THE MEDIATION OF RESALE PRICE PERCEPTION

Abstract: The advancement of technology and growing environmental awareness have driven the automotive industry toward the era of eco-friendly electric vehicles. Electric vehicles offer a solution to air pollution and help reduce the use of fossil-based energy, with benefits such as energy efficiency, lower exhaust emissions, and reduced operational costs. The purpose of this study is to examine the variables that influence consumers’ purchase intentions toward electric vehicles in Surakarta, including product benefits, price, and lifestyle as mediating variables. With the rising popularity of electric vehicles and the support of infrastructure, understanding consumer behavior becomes increasingly important. In order to promote the adoption of electric vehicles in Indonesia, this study is expected to provide useful information for manufacturers, the government, and other stakeholders.
